Recently work has paused on a $3.5 billion electric vehicle battery plant in New Carlisle Indiana. GM noting that demand for electric vehicles has softened since the beginning of this effort, the project now expecting to search for new ideas as they move forward.

   St Joe County set an expectation that that 1600 manufacturing jobs would be created by December 2027, current status unknown.

   As contractors focus exclusively on waterproofing the site to sit dorment indefinitely, a local business has its eyes set on an incredible community opportunity. Vinyl Tap and Table, currently located at 117 S Main St, Mishawaka, Indiana is ready to pitch the county its idea of scaling its award winning wings and burgers up to fit this 2million+ square food site.

   "With enough support, we could turn this site into St Joe county's exclusive food provider" says Vinyl Tap rep Sean Collins

   Resistance is expected to be met by Spartan Nash, Kroger, Walmart, Meijer, and most of all Red Robin, as and exclusive food provider agreement to the entire country would force them all out of business. We reached out to Red Robin for comment but have not heard response yet.

   We reached out to community members to ask their thought on this proposal, Jane Doe, told us "Bro, you lyingggg. I dont want grocery stores, all we want is 100% Beef and award winning wings from Vinyl Tap and Table"

   John Joejohn told us "My family already eats exclusively Vinyl Tap, we've become a better family because of it"

  Whispers from Elkhart county and The entire state of Illinois have reached us that citizens in their respective areas are ready to fight for Vinyl Tap to become the exclusive food provider for their towns too. One person suggesting Vinyl should be "cheese burger president"
