Vinyl Tap started as an idea. Sean Collins and George Anagnos sought out a space for a new restaurant concept during covid.

  Their hope was to utilize down time to prepare a comprehensive plan, and introduce something new to a community where a void may be. Something to get excited about and replace some lost hospitality jobs.

  Well, they landed in historic downtown Mishawaka, looking at a small space rich with history and the shell of what they believed could be a pub to bring the all American hamburger and delicious beer to their neighbors.

  The name Vinyl Tap was a joke name based on a joke movie called Spinal Tap. The further along they planned, the more they just decided to stick with the name as a reminder to never take it too serious. Lets have fun if we're going to do this, and lets turn the flavor up to 11.
